WIEKELIEDJES is slowly making its way into the world of listening pop. Her refined listening songs take you to a world that is large and small, sweet and raw and sometimes make you long for the other side. Wieke's Dutch lyrics are supported by beautiful melodies and are very strong: they capture the recognizable feeling of unease, longing for what is to come and nostalgia for what was. Wieke is currently working on her debut EP, the first single 'Illusions' of which will be released in the autumn.
