This movement workshop opens a space in which it is possible to explore authentic encounters.
Together we want to pursue the following questions:
How can we meet as individuals and really listen to each other - and the bodies of others?
How can movement help us to immerse ourselves in the world of others?
How can movement become a common language that ultimately becomes dance arises?
At the beginning we anchor ourselves in our own body in order to build a conscious connection with ourselves. From there we explore non-verbal communication and dedicate ourselves to the subtle moments that arise immediately before an encounter. We then explore the connections and how they can develop further - through different forms of touch and joint movement.
The workshop ends in an open space for free, creative improvisation - a playful field for trying things out and discovering together.
The workshop is open to everyone - with or without movement experience.

This movement workshop aims to create a space for exploring authentic ways of connecting.
Together, we will raise following questions:
How can we meet as individuals while still truly listening to each other — and to each other’s bodies?
How can movement help us tune into the world of another being?
How can movement become a shared language that eventually leads to dance?
We will begin by grounding ourselves and establishing a connection to our own bodies.
From there, we’ll play with nonverbal communication, becoming more aware of the moments just before an encounter begins. Next, we will explore the connections and how they can evolve, experimenting with different forms of touch and shared movement.
The workshop will culminate in a space for free and creative improvisation — a playful exploration of everything we’ve discovered.
This workshop is open to everyone, with or without prior movement experience.
