We would like to invite you to a meeting with the participants of the Continental Drift project in Prague / Brno.
The project is focused on Czech-Asian networking, creating long-term and sustainable collaborations in the field of performing arts.
❔What are similarities between dramaturgical thinking and practice in Europe and Asia?
❔How to set up a collaboration that overcomes the social, political, environmental and cultural differences of two different continents?
❔What could it look like the resulting cooperation in practice?
The Association of Independent Theaters of the Czech Republic (AND) in cooperation with the Asian Dramaturgs' Network (ADN) and Center 42 from Singapore with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the National Recovery Plan and the European Union implements in in 2024 the project "Continental Drift: Connecting Asia-Europe Dramaturgies". they reflected on personal experiences, shared know-how and looked for specific thematic intersections.
The results of the year-long online and personal meetings will be presented as part of the final weekly networking and pitching program.
The meetings will take place in English and it is necessary register for them.
