About event
** heart and abdomen ** Examining somatic movement through Continuum Movement® to improve perception and connection with our internal resources for personal balance and self -regulation.
Continuum Movement® Connections between breath, sound and movement and their effects on our body and mind. It was developed by a somatic pioneer Emilie Conrad (1934-2014). It is based on the fact that the human body consists of 70% water flowing through our cells, connective tissues, fascia, blood vessels, lymph and others.
Uses sound and movement not only to examine different rhythms and textures of liquid systems of the body, but also to support the flow and circulation of body fluids. The emerging movements are manifested by different - gentle pulsation, from slow smooth and delicate waves to more dynamic and rhythmic sequences. disorders and at the same time can help promote physical, emotional and spiritual health and growth. It is like a meditation in a movement that happens relaxed and non -judging in order to strengthen the natural ability of the body to heal and regenerate. br/>* to relieve tension and stress,
* improve the flexibility and range of movement,
* cultivate a deeper sense of Awareness and connection with the body,
* to promote overall health and well -being,
* to perceive and listen to your own inner wisdom and intuition,
* to promote the feeling of inner peace as well as a greater sense of connection with the world around us .
In this introductory workshop, we will examine the relationship between internal organs and heart with a focus on the autonomous function of the wandering nerve (vagus nerve) that moves through these two physiological structures.
We will use breath, sound, movement and symbolic gestures to examine the sphere of our liquid body, which consists of water distributed in many physiological structures of our body. parasympathetic branches of the autonomic nervous system.
Somatic movement is based on sensory perception, therefore is the polarity of the heart and abdomen with a highly subjective interpretation of physiological structures that exceed any simple understanding. >
