ConTriology + Tomáš Vtípil

Contriology together with Tomáš Vtípil combine folk texts and modernism. At Leitnerka, she will present her latest album last - which is a merger of traditional inspiration and modern forms. The group is inspired by folk songs collected by Leoš Janáček to the Moravian Folk Poetry cycle in songs. The trio combines folk songs with its own compositional approach and improvisation. This creates a smooth music band full of timbre and sound surfaces with a distinctive emotional color. Individual compositions retain the simplicity and nature of folk songs, which permeates a strong element of improvisation and soundness. The whole zone sensitively permeates the electronics of Tomáš Vtípil, who was involved in both arranging and instrumentally.
