Moshpit Theater Concert Tour
Where does the rock concert begin and when does it become an opera?
How long does the esteemed auditorium maintain composure
and when does the moshpit break out?
At Coppelius the audience wears tailcoats and walking sticks,
lace dresses and fans, and thus becomes part of the performance.
The Coppelius gentlemen themselves play on classical instruments in frock coats and top hats - but the cello, clarinets and double bass don't sound like they do in an orchestra.
Instead, the listeners are treated to a hard-hitting rock band.
Since a new album from Coppelius has just been announced, there will also be new pieces to hear. In addition to Coppelian favorite songs and surprises that haven't been heard for a long time.
Coppelius are the only band that still affords a butler in the 21st century. He leads through the evening, sings, serves the people on and in front of the stage and sometimes loses his composure himself.
When everything is in tatters and rubble after the concert, musicians and audience alike stream out into the night happy.
