In 2025 we celebrate 15 years of Coremusic - a platform that has been following, supporting and connecting the alternative and core scene since its creation in 2010. During these years, we were at the birth of many bands that today are among the important names of the genre, and we had the opportunity to follow their journey from our first interviews to sold-out performances in the Czech Republic - Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Thy Art Is Murder or Enter Shikari.
We have also supported dozens of local bands and witnessed the scene grow and change.
We are proud of what we have achieved together and are excited to enter a new era that opens the next fifteen years of media support, growth and pushing the boundaries. That's why we invite you to an exceptional birthday event, which will take place on May 23, 2026 in our popular club Rock Café, where you can reminisce with us about the past and look forward to everything that the future will bring.
What awaits you and will not be missed?
The band River House, which was founded in 2020 in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains, will open the evening. The group moves between alternative rock and post-grunge and will bring to the concert, among other things, material from their album healin', which they released before Christmas.
One of the most interesting names in the current line-up is Bitter Season. The new project brings together veteran musicians from punk rock band Burning Steps, the seminal metalcore/hardcore band Skywalker, as well as the former drummer of the recently defunct band Lorelai. The result is energetic pop punk with new music that demands attention on the scene.
Emotional melodic hardcore will be brought by Brighter Days, a five-piece from Prague, whose debut album Walk is still considered one of the most important recordings in this genre on the domestic scene.
Mad Rabbits are preparing a special set, who are preparing a performance adapted just for this event.
The evening's headliners will be German ESCAPE THE MADNESS. The band is currently working in the studio on new material, which they plan to present for the very first time at this concert.
In addition to the concert, you can expect:
• A celebration of the core scene across generations
• A meeting of those who were there and those who make up its future
• An afterparty directed by our own Jiří Popelka aka DJ Shaty s sleču
• Tattoo Zone
• Limited merch – ONE TIME ONLY
• Raffle
We invite everyone who feels like a part of the scene - whether standing under the stage or on it - and wants to be at a birthday event that connects the community and remembers the moments that shaped us.
