We're going through the Deer Ditch
When? On Saturday 5 September 2026 from 10:00 a.m.
We will walk through the upper and lower Jelení kopok and talk about the history and interesting things connected with it.
And what will we talk about?
- Were there really deer in the Jelení kopok?
- Where do the presidents live today
- Are there still bees in Masaryk's apiary?
- Who is Josef Pleskot
- Bears in the Deer Ditch
- Where is the entrance to the shelter of the Prague Castle?
Meeting point: Before the entrance to the Deer Ditch (U Brusnice Street)
Length: The walk will last about 1.5 hours and then we can continue for coffee.
Difficulty: The walk is more demanding – walking on wooden footbridges. I recommend sturdy shoes.
Price: When buying a ticket in advance, it is 150 CZK for an adult and 100 CZK for a child from 6-15 years old. If there is a free seat, you can buy a ticket on the spot for 200 CZK.
