In her new work Textures of Tears, cowbirds move in a fluid space between tradition and fiction. Narrative and sounds from archetypal chants are taken apart and reorganized. Lubricants flow together from leaks together, calls and questions. Body and voices meet, dissolve and find themselves again - in new narrations and tones. The four women create space for those who are unknown and keep their breath - for a language beyond language.
