What is a Donation-Based Comedy Show? 🤔
A donation-based comedy show is a unique concept where you decide the ticket price at the end of the show based on how much you enjoyed it.
We believe that comedy should be accessible to everyone and don’t want a high ticket price to stand in the way of a good laugh. This show, you set the price!
After the show, if you had a great time, you can contribute any amount you can. Whether it’s €10 or €50, your support helps us keep bringing more laughter to everyone!
Headliner Comedian - Abi Mohanty (IND)
Abi is a Berlin-based comedian. Born in India, she didn’t go far from the stereotype of being a software engineer. While that fills her pockets, comedy fills the void in her heart. Her comedy is a powerful blend of satire and raw honesty, shedding light on the often-taboo subjects of religious dogma and the psychological scars of a restrictive upbringing. Currently converting childhood trauma into jokes one show at a time, Abi has been performing all over Europe, usually in places where Ryanair goes. She recently won the prestigious (and brutal) King Gong at the Comedy Store in London in a desperate attempt to make her parents proud.
Host/MC - Shaurya Tandon (IND/USA)
Shaurya Tandon is an American-born, Indian Raised, Berlin-based Stand-Up Comedian. With over a decade of stage experience, he reignited his passion for stand-up comedy when he came to Berlin. He has since produced shows in over 8 countries with shows in top cities like Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon, Almaty, Istanbul, Basel and Prague. Doing jokes about culture shock, depression, and his unending hate for techno, he turns uncomfortable topics into hilarious gags. His comedy is described as "cutely roasty yet comforting, wholesome, and full of positive energy." He is a familiar face in the largest comedy scene in Europe and is known for his show production - After Work Comedy.
