The artist who comes from Tbilisi and now lives in New York Creams combines dark pop, electronic beats and avant-garde aesthetics to create hypnotic soundscapes full of pulsating synthesizers and raw, introspective lyrics. She is completely self-sufficient and writes, plays and produces all of her releases herself, from concept to master. The result is magnetic, subversive music that comes from absolute devotion to one's own work. Each song is a Pandora's box, with paradoxical lyrics and melodies drawn from myths, dreams and literary ideas.
Creams belongs to a generation that has experienced literally everything in the pro-Soviet state of Georgia: political instability, revolutions, wars and all kinds of conflicts. She spent her childhood in Batumi, a city on the Black Sea where the cries of seagulls mix with the sounds of church bells, the call of the muezzin and the smell of the sea. All these impressions and memories are inspiration for her music.
So far she has released two outstanding EPs and numerous singles. Her debut album has been announced for this year, with which she will come to our Gretchen.
