About event
Join us for a workshop on sketching and ideating with AI!
The workshop will focus on finding ideation and design workflows for furniture design using AI tools. After introducing some of the available tools, we will work together to design seating furniture and iteratively improve its suitability for an imaginary client that we can simulate with each other using role-playing. The goal of this exercise is to find suitable workflows and document them. We all understand that images can be generated quite easily today, but the precise and targeted use of this phenomenon of the time in architecture and design still has very vague contours. Together we will try to refine their contours and the very next day the students of ARCHIP (Architecture Institute in Prague) will also try to do so. The results will be shared and will also form the basis of a new scientific paper.
We welcome anyone who has tried some form of image creation using AI, whether text-to-image, image-to-image or sketch-to-image, as well as those who have never tried it before. Let's work together to find meaningful and effective uses of image generators for ideation, design, and better communication between client and designer.
Workshop facilitators: Šimon Prokop, Lukáš Kurilla, Lenka Hámošová
