The Csík Orchestra, also awarded the Kossuth Prize, has been a key player in Hungarian folk music since 1988. The music of the Kecskemét formation combines traditional folk music elements with light music and world music styles, thus creating a unique and special soundscape. The band won several prestigious awards and released several gold albums. Their concerts and dance halls are very popular not only in Hungary, but also abroad.
The joint concerts of the Csík Orchestra and Gábor Presser offer a special musical experience - at their concerts, folk music meets light music. These performances create a unique soundscape, combining traditional folk music elements with modern musical styles. One of their best-known joint productions is the song Csillag ou fecske, which is very popular.
