CTRL+Play+Toyota Vangelis

Musician Toyota Vangelis will perform in the installation Ctrl+Play and during a special concert the 3D printers will sound in an unexpected way.

Mechanical movements, vibrations and rhythmic sounds of the printing process will become the basis of a live sound composition on the border between experimental electronics, industrial ambient and performance art. Koncert navazuje na principy celé instalace Ctrl+Play, která zkoumá vztah technologií, hry a lidské kreativity, a nabídne návštěvníkům jedinečný poslechový i vizuální zážitek. Singer and composer Václav Peloušek, performing under the stage name Toyota Vangelis, combines simulated acoustic sounds with electronics and a digitally edited voice. Jeho písně se točí kolem milostných metafor, zatímco ve skutečnosti se do nich vkrádá intimita témat, jako jsou velká data, klimatická krize nebo odcizení. He is the co-founder of Bastl Instruments and the music collective Future Jiskří.
