Why "Today I'm not afraid again"?
We have been preparing our last band album for a year and a half. It is perfected down to the last detail and we chose from more than thirty songs. "Today I'm Not Afraid Again" is, on the other hand, a live-recorded compilation of songs that are not very suitable for band purposes. They are a bit of renegades that have accumulated over the course of ten years. You will find there several brand new compositions, but also texts that Honza set to music ten years ago.
And because we recorded the album together with Keishire and often used the first version, there are mistakes. It's difficult for a musician to say "it's done". He would keep dissecting it and it would never be good enough. "Today I'm not afraid again" is at the same time a verse from one of the new songs, but it also perfectly describes the decision to release the album as it is. Full of life, atmosphere...and mistakes.
The album launch will take place on November 2nd at the Kaštan club.
Quarter to death will be played by Jan Vacík, Keishiro Mikawa (cello) and Martin Barinec (drums ).
The godfather and guest is Jakub Čermák aka Cermaque, who will play with the band.
