Čtyři noty z Ukrajiny // Vernisáž výstavy

The exhibition focuses on the international tour of the Ukrainian national band (also of the Ukrainian Republican band), a mixed choir led by the conductor Oleksandr Košyc (1875–1944), which took place in 1919–1924. Attention focuses primarily on the triumph of the Ukrainian song Ščedryk, which became famous as an English -sung carol Carol of the Bells. Through this song, the exhibition tells the story of the constant struggle of Ukraine for independence. They organize the Institute of Myko Leontovych (Kiev) and the Slavic Library.
