About event
CURSES (Live)
Romantic post-punk and body music from Berlin. Luca Venezia on vocals and guitar, and Dame Bonnet on bass, weave live the visceral link between dark and melancholic pop inspired by the 1980s, and the DIY energy of E.B.M.'s beginnings
With 2 albums released on Dischi Autunno, Curses also released a limited edition LP for Yves Saint Laurent, and pieces for campaigns such as Dior and Raf Simons/Calvin Klein. A new album is on the way, imbued with the ghostly guitars and haunting vocals of Curses.
NUOVO TESTAMENTO
Nuovo Testamento is a trio based between Los Angeles and Bologna, lighting up the dance floor with their particularly dark pop hits with Italo disco flavors. Following the release of the Exposure EP in 2019 on Avant! Records, their widely acclaimed album New Earth exploded on the dance floor. There we find the essential synthpop track “The Searcher”, alongside the Hi-NRG homage “Michelle Michelle” and gothic-tinged hits like “Golden Boy”.
New Earth stands out as the one of the best underground albums of the year 2021.
