✵What can we slow down in a world that never stops? It can connect us if we do less? Together we will prepare and enjoy the food, for a while we will just exist and think about the experience we created together. It is not a final product, but a space for traces, as a reminder of the time we spent by observing, defining and reshaping everyday life. more than 20 years old. Their creation examines social transformation in the form of penetration of economic systems and natural environment. They work with various media and focus on topics such as utopia, dystopia and community. They focus significantly on cooperation and critical examination of social structures. As the founders of The Union and anti-symposium initiatives, they question conventional artistic practices and try to support a meaningful dialogue in public spaces. De Carmen Are An Artist Duo Working Collaboratively for Over 20 Years, Whose Work Investigates Social Transformation by Exploring the Intensects Between Economic Systems and Natural Environment. Working Across Diverse Media, They Engage With Themes Such as Utopia, Dystopia and Community, With A Strong Focus on Collaboration and Critical Inquiry Into Social Structure. AS FOUNDERS OF INITIATIVES LIKE The Union and Anti-Symposium, They Challenge Conventional Art Practices and Seek To Foster Meaningful Dialogue in Public Spaces, Redinking the Role of Art Within Society.
