About event
Every month we organize Social Rides one or more times a month. On Sunday, October 12, we will gather at 10 a.m. at our partner Café & Restaurant Wissenkerke Sloterdijk for a tour of 50 - 90 km in the green areas around our beautiful city.
SPORTIVITY AND ENJOYMENT
Enjoying cycling at a nice pace, the beautiful surroundings of Amsterdam and getting to know new people and our club is central to these rides. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or level. You will also learn how to find routes from the heart of Amsterdam to the beautiful rural areas. To ensure maximum safety, we ride in groups of max. 8 people. The average pace is between 25-30 km per hour.
We gather at 10 a.m., start at 10:30 a.m. and return to the starting point around 2 p.m.
CYCLE CAPITAL RIDING STANDARDS
• We ride in groups of max. 8 people
• We adhere to the traffic rules
• Lousy (road) behavior is strange to us
• Together out and together at home (no drop policy)
• We ride the racing bike in good condition (properly working brakes)
• Helmet required
• Shoes with clipless pedals
• Spare tire, food and drinks for the road
