About event

Don't miss this special comedy night with Liz Glazer, who went from being a tenured law professor to winning the Boston Comedy Festival.

LIZ GLAZER is an award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who used to be a tenured law professor, a job she was very good at. Liz is the winner of both the Boston Comedy Festival and the Ladies of Laughter competition. She appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, opened for Myq Kaplan and Maria Bamford, and was accepted to the 2021 HBO Women in Comedy Festival. Additionally, Liz has appeared on For Life on ABC and Bull on CBS. Liz is also writing a television pilot about her life, a draft of which was a semi-finalist in the Stage 32 writing competition. Liz has also been featured in a full article in the Wall Street Journal. You can catch Liz's new special, "Do You Know Who I'm Not" on YouTube.

These days Liz performs regularly at comedy clubs and festivals. Liz also does private events for law schools, law firms, synagogues, and major corporations.

BRENDEN CREECY – Portland’s favorite sad boy, who was recently selected as a finalist in Portland's Funniest Person Contest for 2023. Brenden brings a refreshingly candid lens to modern life, blending pop culture references with soul-baring sincerity. You might know him from the Laugh It Forward series or his long-running podcasting adventures

BRANDON LYONS does stand-up, mostly light-hearted stuff about pop culture and race in America (that can be light-hearted, right?). He hosts comedy nights at Helium and Al’s Den, and has the best jump shot in Portland's comedy scene.

DOT GEARY- Octogenarian, teacher, and comedian since the age of 76. Dot now produces and hosts monthly comedy shows in theaters across the Pacific Northwest. Dot makes audiences laugh, but she isn’t sure whether they're more impressed by her jokes or by her ability to perform stand-up while standing up.
