DALINDA
The singers of the Dalinda acappella trio – Fanni Nádasdy, Julianna Paár and Sára Tímár – all devotees of Hungarian folk music. In their music, however, they strive to bring the authentic, instinctive singing style required for folk songs to the stage in a modern form, in several parts, sensitively reworked. Their songs are about common human experiences, since our folk songs are carriers of collective feelings and thoughts that affect us all. It is the purest source of our self-expression.
The idea of the formation was born in 2015. Dalinda crystallized from the experience of many folk and world music projects and years of joint work.
Since their formation, they have released two records, performed in the biggest concert halls in Hungary, at foreign festivals, and in 2020 they represented the folk a cappella genre in India and at WOMEX.
