Six Alpine countries, 2,050 km, 75 days and 120,000 altitude meters climbed. Go with Kuba on an adventurous journey across the majestic Alps and discover the beauty of still wild mountain trails, steep mountain peaks, lakes, glaciers, deep valleys with waterfalls or meandering rivers. At the lecture, we will explore Kub's three long-distance treks: GR 5 (GTA), Via Alpina Yellow-Red Combo and Via Alpina Green, which he managed to combine into one arc stretching from the Côte d'Azur to the Adriatic Sea. You will learn, among other things, what makes individual countries specific and how to operate effectively in the Alps so that it doesn't cost you a lot of money and at the same time you enjoy it as much as possible. If you enjoy walking, you would like to try a long-distance trek, but you don't want to go somewhere far, come to a lecture about long-distance treks in the Alps and let yourself be absorbed by the magic of crossing these breathtaking mountains on foot!

Physical geographer, lover of mountains and waterways, long-distance trails and ultralight equipment for treks, which he tests for Under 7 kilos. He has walked 12,000 km on Czech and European trails in the last seven years. He completed, for example, a triple crossing of the Pyrenees (3x 800+ km), a crossing of the Alpine arc (2,050 km), the Via Dinarica Trail from Slovenia to North Macedonia (1,620 km) and a number of other shorter treks. The peculiarity is that he works and lives permanently on the road in his motor home, which he calls Felix.
