Dam Qui Rit Comedy Club - French night #36

Le Dam Qui Rit - Comedy club, the first French-speaking comedy club in Amsterdam, invites you to its 36th edition on 01/08/2025 at Nieuwe Anita

Wednesday January 8th is the 36th edition of Dam Qui Rit at Nieuwe Anita

We start 2025 with the first open stage of the year, and when we say open stage, it really means that the stage is open, with a sort of trap door that we can activate if the person on stage is not funny...No, this is not true at all, open stage means that everyone can go on stage.

It's an opportunity to come and discover new artists who don't yet know that they are artists, throw themselves into the deep end.
We gave them instructions to spend between 5 and 8 minutes on stage, no imposed theme, just new jokes that we had never heard in the story of the Dam Qui Rit.

Of course, we are counting on you and your kindness to forever be the first to hear these jokes. If so, in a few years you will be able to say: "I was there..."
Because, as I always say, starting out without an audience is like diving into a swimming pool without water, you don't doesn't get wet but it hurts because there is always a little tile at the bottom... just thinking about it hurts me..

So we'll recap the evening's program for you :
- The very first steps on stage of our volunteers, they raised their hand and now they're going to do it, yay
- Local comedians who will make new jokes, for the first and maybe last time, that's the game!
