Daniel Bulatkin CZ/SK Quartet

Pianist, organist and composer Daniel Bulatkin (*1999), currently working in the Netherlands, belongs to the leading personalities of the young Czech jazz generation. Right from the beginning of his career, he was lucky to collaborate with leading domestic models, which soon resulted in concerts with respected foreign names on prestigious stages all over Europe. These experiences led him to performances alongside world stars such as Ulf Wakenius, Justin Faulkner, Tineke Postma, Gergo Borlai and Gary Husband.

Daniel can currently be heard in formations ranging from straight-ahead and modern jazz to prog-rock, neo-soul and world music - while in each of these genres he forms his unique sound and author's signature. Publicists and colleagues refer to him as the "hope of Czech jazz" (Česká televízia) or "rising star" (skjazz.sk).

So far, he has released two albums as a leader and co-author - Drifter Days and The New Beginning. Both recordings were ranked among the best rated albums of the year in the critical ranking of the CRo Jazz station. In addition to his own work, he also produced the ambitious debut album of the American singer Allison Wheeler called Winterspring.
