Daniel Bulatkin International Quartet

Pianist, organist and composer Daniel Bulatkin (*1999), currently working in Holland, is one of the leading figures of young Czech jazz. From the beginning of his career, Daniel was lucky to work with his Czech models, and soon to perform concerts with foreign names on prestigious stages all over Europe. All this soon led to performances alongside world stars such as Ulf Wakenius, Justin Faulkner, Tineke Postma, Gergo Borlai, Gary Husband and others. Nowadays, Daniel can be heard in formations ranging from straight-ahead and modern jazz to prog-rock, neo-soul, and world music. All this without losing its unique sound and signature. Publicists and colleagues refer to him as the "hope of Czech jazz" (Czech Television) or a "rising star" (skjazz.sk).

To date, he has released two albums as a "co-leader" - Drifter Days and The New Beginning. Both CDs were mentioned in the ČRo Jazz critics list as one of the best of their year. At the same time, he produced the ambitious debut of American singer Allison Wheeler Winterspring.

At Jazz Dock, he will present the first swallows from his planned solo album, this time in a line-up with top Czech jazz stars – David Dorůžka (guitar), Tomáš Baroš (double bass) & Daniel Šoltis (drums).
