Daniel Bulatkin Quartet

Pianist, organist and composer Daniel Bulatkin (*1999), currently working in Holland, is one of the leading figures of young Czech jazz. From the beginning of his career, Daniel was lucky to work with his Czech models, and soon to perform concerts with foreign names on prestigious stages all over Europe. All this soon led to performances alongside world stars such as Ulf Wakenius, Justin Faulkner, Tineke Postma, Gergo Borlai, Gary Husband and others. Nowadays, Daniel can be heard in formations ranging from straight-ahead and modern jazz to prog-rock, neo-soul, and world music. All this without losing his unique sound and signature.

Until 2022, he managed to release two albums as (co-)leader – Drifter Days and The New Beginning . Both CDs were mentioned in the ČRo Jazz critics list as one of the best of their year. This time, Daniel will present his new Dutch colleagues Jesse Schilderink (tenor sax) and Jens Meijer (drums) by his side for the first time on home soil. In combination with the Czech double bassist Tomáš Baroš, the group promises an experience full of explosive energy, organic interplay and epic improvisation.
