Digitalism (GER) – DJ set
Many notable names have come out of the German electronic scene, and Digitalism has been one of them since the debut of Idealism (2007). Their sound connects house, dance-punk, synthwave and indietronica and defined the era of nu-rave.
The Orb (UK) - DJ set
The project led by Alex Paterson helped define the genre of ambient house and became famous for connecting hypnotic grooves, psychedelic sound collages and an unmistakable club atmosphere. At Danube Music Days, Alex will play in an exclusive The Orb DJ set, which will bring a cross-section of their iconic musical aesthetic and contemporary work.
L'Eclair (SWI) - live
L'Eclair is the brotherly duo of Yavor and Stefan Lilov, who together with their bandmates form one of the most interesting instrumental bands today. In their music, they combine funk, disco, psychedelia and electronics into a hypnotic, strongly grooved live sound with modern energy and retro references.
Skalpel (POL) – AV show
Polish duo Skalpel combines jazz tradition with modern electronics at the world level. Their work has also gained recognition thanks to releases on the legendary Ninja Tune label and will bring a powerful audiovisual experience to the festival.
Irvine Welsh (UK) – DJ set & talk
The author of the cult novel Trainspotting, he is one of the most prominent voices in British literature of the 90s and his work fundamentally influenced the view of rave and club culture. At Danube Music Days 2026, he will talk about books, film and his own work and will also play a DJ set full of house, disco and rave energy.
Wolfgang Flür (ex Kraftwerk) (GER) – Cinema & Music show
Wolfgang Flür is a former member of the legendary Kraftwerk and one of the key figures in the formation of modern electronic music. At Danube Music Days 2026, he will bring a special video DJ set in which he combines the legacy of Kraftwerk with his own solo work and contemporary electronic sound.
Biggi Veira (ICE) – GusGus DJ Set
Biggi Veira is a founding member of the Icelandic GusGus and one of their key figures in Icelandic music. At Danube Music Days 2026, he will bring a DJ set full of powerful moments, groove and atmosphere that is typical for GusGus - raw, emotional and at the same time irresistible to dance. He doesn't play solo DJ sets that often, so don't miss this rare opportunity.
Pale Blue Eyes (UK) – live
Pale Blue Eyes are a British trio that brings a slightly melancholic, but at the same time distinctly melodic indie sound with elements of dream pop. Their music is based on strong guitar lines, layered synthesizers and an atmosphere that feels both intimate and euphoric at the same time. At Danube Music Days 2026, they will perform for the first time in Slovakia, after a series of European concerts including a tour with Slowdive.
Reboot the Mood (GER) – live
The German trio combines jazz, funk and electronica in vibrant live concerts. Their performances are full of energy, spontaneous improvisations and moments that cannot be planned - only experienced. The result is a dance jazz and chillout atmosphere that draws you in and won't let go.
Noční jazdci (SVK) - live
Noční jazdci arrive at the Danube Music Days Festival 2026! Live electronics driven by synthesizers, loopers, drum pads, samplers, drums and percussions connects dub, funk, trance and dark, but still fresh sounding electro. Hold on tight - they will guide you through the entire universe with their energy.
Hasky & Makepeace (SVK) – B2B
Residents of the Bratislava club Radost bring an energetic B2B set on the border between tech house and techno. Built on strong groove, club energy and authentic rave culture - exactly how it should work on the floor.
Gabanna x KE3N (SVK) – Drum & Bass takeover
The duo Gabanna & KE3N will spin a fast, precise and uncompromisingly energetic DnB set. Sharp breaks, deep bass and fast flow meet here with a modern sound and club power, which builds up to a pure rave explosion. Strong drum'n'bass finale of the festival's Friday program.
