About event

She has been writing since she was nine years old, back then on her brother's computer, motivated by her German teacher, who cut out her puzzles from newspapers. The child who was influenced by funny paperbacks and Disney cassettes became a teenager who loved thrillers by R.L. Stine devoured it and one day stumbled into a writing workshop she grew up with. Vivian Victoria Nestler's texts are diverse; she likes to write longer novels, tries out dramas and writes many poetry slam texts. The latter are shaped by their everyday situations, feelings, illnesses, problems and wishes. Texts have always served her not only to dream away, but above all to process the unchangeable reality of our world and society. With her texts she wants to encourage readers to think, open new perspectives and make unfamiliar topics tangible.

Vivian Victoria Nestler, born in 1996, came to the writing workshop for young people in the Mark Twain Library at the age of 14 and stayed. After graduating from high school, she began studying to become a teacher and now works in a primary school.
