Back to Rocky Beach:
You have just defeated the horrors of hell with ghost hunter John Sinclair, and you are already on your way to sunny California - the full playback theater is your tour guide through the world of Cult radio plays!
Get in, buckle up!
When a mysterious temple cult from distant India sets out to search for a no less mysterious gemstone on the other side of the globe, and three clever young detectives, lured by a tricky riddle, set out to search for the jewel, then - then the VPT takes action and turns it into the show of the year for you:
The VPT interprets "The Three ??? and the Curse of the Ruby«
Full playback is best live!
Sophisticated stage designs with the charm of a huge playground transport the audience back to their own children's room. Endlessly imaginative props and original costumes, as well as crazy punchlines, accurately edited dialogues and surprising quotes. A mixture that only one troupe can create: The VPT.
In addition, there is the absolute unique selling point of this ensemble: lip-synchronized performance to playback from the tape. The familiar voices that are embodied on stage by the five fantasy experts from the VPT with such pointed talent that even the off-screen words seem like they are live.
A classic in the radio play universe:
With episode 5, the new show is based on one of the first and most popular stories of the successful radio play series from EUROPA. Among fans of the series, this case is considered one of the great classics and regularly ends up at the top when asked about their favorite episode. And how not? A huge ruby, which is not only incredibly valuable but also extremely dangerous due to a curse, is the object of desire for several parties who are entangled in a fast-paced hunt. The three detectives from Rocky Beach are of course in the middle of it all, always trying to help their client with the fascinating name August August get justice.
Just as fascinating as the cases of the Three ???, which have accompanied so many of their listeners since childhood and whose stories and voices have burned into the collective memory of an entire generation, are the stage shows of the Vollplaybacktheater from Wuppertal.
An evening with the VPT is pure happiness!
The VPT offers a magnificent show of homage to and parody of that Original.
The VPT makes evenings go crazy with its very own wit, a cascade of brilliant light and sound effects and a lot of love for the ramp madness from every sound source.
Attending a VPT show is the best way to replenish your own sense of humor, to let everyday life be for a few hours and to feel completely good by laughing together with tears.
