David Helán 🇨🇿 „𝒉𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒖𝒔” → prednáška + workshop

DNA 29 and 30. O 19h in Outelinka m.č. 104 (Star refreshment for evening feast) from 10h - 13h in the attic of the Outelinky. 1979 in Brno. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, among other things, he graduated from study stays at the prestigious Cooper Union in New York or at Middlesx University in London. Its portfolio contains separate projects and exhibitions in the Czech Republic, but also in a number of foreign institutions and galleries. David's artistic personality synthesizes two different influences, artistic performance and cabaret entertainment. His live events, which always produce careful video or photographic documentation, move on the border of an absurd theater with an overlap on purely contemporary topics and serious questions. It creates a specific aesthetic atmosphere of comic, melancholy and existential poetics imbued with material objects and symbols of everyday life, which serves as quite practical tools in the situation. Helána's testimony is imbued with creative ease and playful imagination always underlines things in essence serious. His work is far from limited to art institutions, but is open to interaction and improvisation with any environment and audience. The civilian level of humanity and at the same time conscious work with a serious artistic identity are a very fresh combination that is now more rare in the world of art.
