Let yourself be surprised! This time we're watching a queer Polish film.
Are you queer, have a post-East migration story and would you like to exchange ideas with others? Then you've come to the right place at this meeting!
But Post-Ost – what is that anyway? It is a political term for all those who have a migration history in relation to the former Soviet states or who are independently perceived as “Slavic”. This affects, among other things, Polish, Ukrainian, Kazakh and Russian migration history as well as that from the Balkan region. It's about being affected by anti-Slavism. (German people from the GDR without a migration history are therefore not included.)
So, if you are here and would like to talk to others in a post-East, but also queer, safe space about your experiences, network and simply exchange ideas, you are very welcome! No prior knowledge or anything similar about the topic is required. You are the experts for your own experiences!
