About event
Dawn Brothers is averse to fuss and for many years a band to build. The Rotterdam foursome has a very strong live reputation, a creation of folk rock, blues and soul where you can't get a pin in between. Do not expect great sing -along moments or stage criminals. Dawn Brothers is like a tip -off furniture, carelessly carved out of pure love for music. This also applies to the new studio album 'Cry Alone' (March 21, 2025), on which the gentlemen flood new techniques without prejudice to noo-nonsense and make their peppered americana-sound sound a bit darker.

Since their debut Staying Out Late (2017), the Dawn Brothers from Hungary to South Africa has been touring, they played on North Sea Jazz and the renowned Americanafest in Nashville, they provided the supporting program of The Black Keys and they made a het and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered and gathered the Serardinance and Get Gettereden. DeWolff. After all those adventures, 'Alpine Gold' (2022) was a return to basics - with the flawless interplay firmly in the fingers. That sober course is partly continued on 'Cry Alone'.
