This picturesque hike takes you through the heart of the South Downs National Park. The trail offers a blend of natural beauty, historic landmarks, and stunning vistas, making it a rewarding experience for walkers of all levels, passing along the Arun river. In this glorious hike we will aim for a late lunch and mooch around the Amberley village coffee shops, then there might be an option to split up and stay in in the village or continue hiking, then we’ll all conclude at the Bridge Inn and its attractive beer garden with some well chilled bubbling lager🍺
WHAT TO EXPECT - HIKING INFO
Distance: 20km
Ascent: c.192 metres
Estimated Duration (approx): 6 hours walking
Difficulty: Moderate
**Assembly Time: 08:00
Move to the departure platform at 08:20
The train departs at: 08:35
The train arrives at 10:05 at Arundel station
Meeting Point: London Victoria Station, in front of the ticket machines where the Benches are.
We'll aim for train back at 16:48 to arrive Victoria for 18:15
COST
The cost for the hike and train travel is £30 per person. The PayPal payment option is automatically set to the Hike & Train option.
Use the 'NOTRAIN' promo code to pay £10 for hike only ticket and meet us at Amberley station (or travel with us of course, the more the merrier)
