A musical journey through the elegance of the European Salons of the 19th century, accompanied by the refined sounds of the Lira-Chitarra-a rare instrument inspired by the Lierland. Popular with noble ladies and musicians of that time, accompanied the famous singers such as Joseph Dominique Fabry-Garat and Johann Michael Vogl, a friend of Franz Schubert.
The instrument played in this concert was built in Paris in 1806 by the Luthier Henry Lejeune and is part of the private collection of M ° Domenico Lafasciano. With 12 intestine strings, it forms a valuable example of the transition from the baroque guitar to modern Zessnarige guitar.
Om de authentieke sfeer van die tijd te herbeleven, zal M° Lafasciano, een internationaal gerenommeerde gitarist, optreden in historische kleding en werken uitvoeren van belangrijke componisten uit de Parijse salons:
