many know slavuj of the annual concerts in the English church in the Begijnhof in Amsterdam.
Last year there were many pieces on the repertoire from Bosnia-Herzegovina, where Slavuj was
For the ARK, recent and new songs have been supplemented with old gems rehearsed. There will be music from Slovenia, Croatia, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Georgia, each with their characteristic harmonies. In addition, there are Sephardic and Roma pieces.
As always, the unique arrangements have been made by musical leader and conductor Ivo Boswijk. He edits the instrumental guidance of the Eastern European folk music into complex and rhythmic singing parts, mostly a capella, occasionally in combination with guitar.
The varied sound palette of these pieces again led to the appropriate title colors of the soul in the Ark !>
