De Krakeling & Munganga presenteren: Dwars door het beton, 4+ by Theater Kwikstart

Moving to a new, unknown place is exciting enough. But what do you do if you are the only resident there and your new neighborhood turns out to be uninhabitable for the first friends you make? We move together with Flora to an empty new-build neighborhood full of dry construction sand in which nothing grows or blooms. When she plays her guitar alone in her concrete tile garden, she befriends a worm. Together they discover that Flora's new neighborhood is not suitable for nature; and so for Worm and his friends: something has to be done here. Time for a green makeover!
Flora and Worm take action and turn the concrete house into a beautiful green oasis. In live animation, ivy creeps up the walls from nowhere, grass grows through the construction sand and we see life emerge in the garden. Plants and animals feel welcome! Does Flora no longer have to feel alone?
Right through the concrete! (4+) is a (live) musical, visual multimedia youth theater performance. A contemporary family show about moving, feeling at home and shaping a new world. With an ever-expanding world for people, we sometimes forget that animals and nature also need a home. The story fits within the experience of children aged four years and older and responds to larger themes such as making friends, yourself opening up and the relationship between people and nature.
