About event
On September 14, 2025, Ruigoord is again organizing a Ruigoord Rede. In the past, these lectures have been given by the journalist H.J.A. Hofland, the sociologist Abram de Swaan, the economists Arnold Heertje and Rick van der Ploeg and the writers Simon Vinkenoog and Gerrit Komrij. In De Ruigoord Rede, the speaker discusses one or more socially relevant themes from the ideas of Ruigoord.
This year the Ruigoord Rede is provided by Carolien Gehrels, director Arcadis, President RVC Ajax and former alderman of Amsterdam.
