Debate: The new circus is not only for young people
We invite you to a debate on the topic of the new circus for older adults, where the experiences of both lecturing and participation in workshops or performances will be heard.
We will present these topics and give space for your questions:
▪️ Circus of the third age: regular CIRQUEON courses for adults and their trip to Barcelona this year to meet circus peers of the Ateneu Popular circus school 9 Barris as part of the Erasmus+ program / Accreditation of adult education
▪️Participatory project Grand-Mother Project presented at the Cirkopolis festival – collaboration of the French ensemble Un loup pour l’Homme with several local women around 70
▪️ Glorious Bodies – production of the Belgian ensemble Circumstances presented several times in Prague at Jatka78, created by 6 acrobats aged 55-67 years
The following will share their experiences:
- Hana Davidová, lecturer of Circus of the Third Age courses, and participant of the trip
- Lucie Špačková, production festival Cirkopolis, and participant of the project
- Vít Neznal, dramaturg of the Jatka78 space
