About event
Museum of Memory XX. century will be presented again this year at the international book fair World of Books 2026, which will take place from 14 to 17 May 2026 at the Prague Exhibition Center in Holešovici. We cordially invite visitors:
👉 to our stand, where they will be able to learn more about the activities of the museum, its projects and publishing activities focused on modern history, or purchase a board game
👉 The program will also include a debate in the Josef Škvorecký hall on the uncomfortable past with Petr Blažek and Mirek Vodrážka, which will offer space for an open dialogue about topics that still resonate in society today.
Guests: Director Museums of XX. century Petr Blažek and historian Miroslav Vodrážka
Moderated by: Michal Macháček
👉 At the same time, we will present a new book by historian František Emmert entitled Germans in Czech lands, which brings a new perspective on the complex and often discussed coexistence of Czechs and Germans throughout history.
Come meet, discuss and discover history in context. We look forward to seeing you at World of Books 2026.
