We invite you to a debate between the architect and author of poetic texts Pavla Melková and the philosopher, esthetician and translator Miroslav Petříček entitled The language of creating an environment, its interpretation and its perception is the same, which takes place on Tuesday, October 29 at 18:00. The debate will take place in the exposition of the Antony Gormley / Pavla Melková exhibition.

We shape, influence, think about the physical space of our world. we interpret, or perceive and experience. In today's time, which has the need to divide everything into specializations, then its formation, to put it simply, we categorize it into, for example, building, or the creation of architecture, influencing, for example, maintenance or rebuilding, thinking into technical, natural or humanities, interpreting into artistic creation, and perception, for example, on psychology. At the same time, however, it is possible to imagine that the creation of architecture, care for the environment, scientific and theoretical work or artistic creation, and a number of other, material and immaterial activities, are one and the same shaping of the same environment, only they move towards the goal in different ways and forms.< br/>
In addition, in the image of the environment in human perception, the languages of perception, interpretation and creation of the environment become a common, universal language. It is the language that we insert into architecture or visual spatial objects, through which architecture and objects speak to the viewer, through which we interpret the environment and through which we perceive it as viewers. When we realize this, as architects, artists, interpreters or users, it is all the more reason to seek, understand and cultivate this language. Not only does it help mutual understanding between the environment and man and also between people, but as a result it can also help to create a better place for our everyday life and a deeper ability to experience it.
