No tropical paradise, but political instability, gang rule, violence and residents held hostage in their own neighborhoods. This is Haiti as we know it today. What is MSF's experience on an island that people mistake for a Pacific tourist destination? What services do they provide there? How is it to live and work in the metropolis of Port-au-Prince? Is the Médecins Sans Frontières t-shirt still a guarantee of safety? And why is the number of victims of sexual violence increasing?
