About event
How do young people today perceive Václav Havel? For them, is he more of a historical
figure, a symbol, or a person? How do they encounter his legacy in school, media or public space? Our debate will offer a young generation's perspective on Václav Havel's personality and significance today. The invited guests, former president of the Czech High School Union Adéla Kundrátová, artist and active citizen Ellen Anna Kovačíková, and history and social science teacher student and member of the Agora association Filip Rytíř, together with moderator Jakub Roubíček, will open the discussion, which will be followed by a joint debate with students.
The goal is to create a space for sharing different perspectives and questions that Havel's legacy still raises today.
