About event
Sisa Feher will present her new album Mammatus in a chamber version together with excellent musicians Oskar Török (trumpet) and Vojtěch Procházko (synthesizers). In this compilation, you will hear an avant-garde version of Sisa's compositions in a raw version, still with a large amount of improvisation. Authentic and powerful vocal expression, instrumental virtuosity and very current social themes in the musical contemplation of three original musicians.
!!! The concert will be recorded audio+video !!!
Sisa Feher - vocals, guitar, bass
Vojtěch Procházka - synthesizers, piano, bass
Oskar Török - trumpet, vocals

What the album is about:
"The theme of the recording is idealizing our future through a painful optimism closely linked to maternal feelings. The latter is supposed to contribute to a gentler view of the complicated environmental and social situation in the world and to romanticize the assumed dystopian future that the next generations will have to adapt to. The urgency of solving this situation without negative and hateful processes is a utopian idea that I try to manifest as a real possibility,"
Quotes:
"Sisa Feher confirmed the ability of development with the album Mammatus. The courage not to stick to tried and tested patterns, to be does not deny the manuscript. Let it stay that way." (Tomáš S. Polívka, music columnist, Harmonie 12/2024)
"Sisa Fehér brings to the Mammatus album a strong authorial statement with a clear concept and freedom that can be felt in every note. In cooperation with excellent musicians, she managed to capture - if I can perceive it that way from a man's position - the authentic emotions and poetics of motherhood. The result is musically captivating and emotionally layered."
