Standa Charvát farms in the hilly area of the western spur of the Ždánické forest in the village of Klobouky in the Velkopavlovická wine region. The vineyards with an area of approx. 1.5 ha are spread over two vineyards U Větřáku and Pod Plunary and their age is 45-65 years.
Standa places maximum emphasis on the environment. That is why he does not use herbicides, systemic sprays or any artificial fertilizers in the vineyards. Wines ferment spontaneously, fermentation and subsequent aging takes place in oak or acacia barrels, and for some white wines in stainless steel tanks.
The Charvát winery thus offers an exceptional wine with a characteristic taste and aroma that reflects the typical quality of local grapes .
We will taste 8 samples together and prepare a small snack for you.
