About event
✨ Theme of the sixth meeting: Workers vs. colonialism ✨
🧑💻 What if the company where you work sells materials aimed at maintaining colonial oppression, or even weapons for wars in the Global South? Do unions have a duty to protect jobs, or should they criticize what jobs are for, even at the cost of layoffs?
🌍 How is the legacy of colonialism reflected in labor relations? Does it still matter if you come from former settlers or slaves? We will take a look at two approaches that explore the solidarity of white workers with people oppressed by neocolonialism.
Marek from SdruŽen will facilitate. As usual, if an interesting topic comes to mind and you would like to take on the responsibility of facilitating one of the next meetings, we would be happy to hear from you!

< br/>👩🦽 Accessibility:
Café Mezzanine is not completely barrier-free, there is a step inside, but it can be overcome with a manual wheelchair. Toilets are wheelchair accessible. If there is anything we can help you with, please let us know. If you are not feeling well, please come in a respirator, or stay at home and come to the next meeting when you are healthy.
🌍 We see decolonization as an integral part of the feminist struggle. That's why we decided to set up an informal reading/discussion group, where we will delve into the topic together. If you see it the same way and want to deepen your knowledge, join us!
❌🎓 We are not in a school, so we want the circle to be as accessible as possible. Let's make it what we want! Can't read the text? Watch a lecture or listen to a podcast instead. And if you don't even have the capacity for that, we'd love to see you anyway!
