🟡 The day of architecture 2025 🟡

🟡 We invite you to the jubilee year of the largest architecture festival in our country! The nationwide festival Day of Architecture will offer hundreds of events in more than 130 towns and municipalities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia between 2 and 7 October. The festival has a full program in Brno - guided tours, excursions to commonly inaccessible buildings, walks, lectures, exhibitions and workshops for children. The events are traditionally free.
🟡 This year's subtitle Ta architecture focuses on extraordinary women in architecture - from the pioneers of the 20th century to contemporary architects, designers and activists. For example, the festival visitors will take the footsteps of Eliška Machová, into the transformed area of the former Voršilek monastery and the production inspired by the life of Růžena Žornová.
🟡 The festival will also focus on the work of Bohuslav Fuchs, whose birth this year will take place 130 years. Tours of the palaces of nobles, the Brno Alps and other Fuchs' realizations will bring the work of the architect, which fundamentally influenced the form of interwar and postwar Brno. The third theme of this year is the transformation of public space, the urban development of Brno and its neglected places.
