About event
🟡 The "turtle" - icon of the city of Žilina together with the author and architect Ľudovít Kupkovič and the main architect of the town Rudolf Chodelk. This iconic object from the 80s of the 20th century excels in its artistic solution, structural courage and town -forming meaning. After a long time, the owner of the hall has changed, which opens the question of its further use and future. The main architect of the city of Žilina will bring the architectural and cultural value of the building, its place in the context of the development of the city. The show is an opportunity to think about how to approach modern architectural heritage, how to communicate with the public and what role it can play in the further development of the city. Rudolf Chodelka, Chief Architect of the City of Žilina
