About event
The Medical Physicist Day event was created to raise awareness of a study program that is not only rapidly developing, but above all saves human lives.
Few people suspect that a radiological physicist must be present in a hospital, who takes care of X-rays, clinical accelerators and many other equipment, provides radiation protection, but also plans the treatment of patients. And since few people suspect it, few people think of studying this field either.
There is a shortage of specialists not only in the Czech Republic, but all over the world, as specialized treatment centers are increasing.
The event will take place in person, program:
10:00 – 12 :30 Lecture block (Who is a radiological physicist, Radiotherapy - surgery without a scalpel, Nuclear medicine, Radiodiagnostics)
13:30 Practical exercises and excursions (of your choice at registration)
17:30 Estimated end of the event

The equipment of the laboratories was financially supported by OP VVV MŠMT from project no. CZ.02.2.67/0.0/0.0/16_016/0002357 (call of the Laboratory for top bachelor's and master's fields).
