About event
After two years, the traditional Letňany Airport Day returns on the usual date of the first Saturday in September, September 5. 2026!
Another year that will take you through the more than a century of history of our airport, which has been inextricably linked not only to the development of aviation, but also to pilot training.
This year, with the subtitle "Trainer Legends" (Legendary types of training aircraft), is focused precisely on one of the most important chapters in the history of the airport - the training of pilots during the Second World War and in post-war years. It was then that the airport saw one of the most intensive and important uses in its entire history. Visitors can look forward to a unique cross-section of this era as well as a presentation of less-seen historical machines from the Czech Republic and the whole of Europe.
