The focus of this year's event confirms the role of Prague services as a key pillar of the city's infrastructure. Fellow citizens will see that the company is a well-coordinated team that takes a responsible approach to the environment with the help of modern technologies. The open day is an ideal opportunity to get a closer look at the complexity and scope of our services in real operation. Whether it is the collection and sorting of waste, the operation of collection yards, the cleaning and maintenance of roads, the care of greenery, the production of electricity and heat at ZEVO Malešice or other of the many activities that the company carries out.
On the third Saturday of May, visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore the diverse fleet of Prague services as well as the special equipment that the second largest city company uses right on the streets every day. Commented tours of the paper sorting line are also a big attraction this time. Here, interested parties can directly observe the process through which waste sorted by citizens from blue bins and containers goes through before it becomes a secondary raw material ready for further use and subsequent recycling.
The open day traditionally places emphasis on education, which is why it will once again be supported by a number of professional partners. In individual educational stands, companies such as Asekol, EKO-KOM, H2Ospodař will present their activities in addition to Prague services! or the non-profit organization Ekodomov. Ekodomov will also provide popular theater performances for the little ones. The goal of these stations is to explain in an understandable and playful way the importance of sorting, recycling and careful handling of natural resources.
During the day, Jan Bendig, Míša Růžičková, Tereza Mašková will take turns on stage, and maybe even a magician will come. Moderator Tomáš Zástěra will lead a rich and varied program. People will take away as many experiences as possible, but above all new knowledge in caring for the environment and their immediate surroundings.

Entry is free, program changes reserved. People will be able to tap water free of charge at a special stand for backup cups or your own bottles.
